Frequently asked questions

Here are some answers to questions we think you might have. If your questions isn't answered here feel free to contact us anytime.

1. How long does it take for a typical repair?

Usually we can do same day repairs, but in some cases parts must be ordered in from one of our suppliers in Auckland or overseas. In this case, the repair may take a bit longer, however most repairs will be finished and returned within 2-3 working days.

2. Do you offer any type of warranty on your repairs?

If you have the same issue within 90 days of us repairing your device, bring it in to us and we will fix the issue free of charge. This of course doesn’t cover any accidental damage or wear and tear, and will only cover the parts used to fix the device.

3. Will I lose any information on my device?

It is unlikely that you will lose information on your device, but in rare cases this can happen. We recommend you perform a full backup of your device before you bring it in to us.

4. Do I need to make an appointment?

Nope! You can visit us anytime during normal business hours at our Te Rapa store or Hamilton Central store and we’ll be happy to help. View our store locations here

5. Can you fix water damage?

We can! We can help with:

  • Cleaning and removing liquid from the phone.
  • Assessing the damage.
  • Providing an estimate for repairs & perform those repairs.
  • Writing an insurance report/estimate on request.
